Start by booking a tour so you can meet the team and see the rooms. We can then discuss availability, your preferred days and start date, and guide you through enrolment and orientation.

Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm. We close on weekends and Victorian public holidays.

Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack are included. Fresh meals are prepared on site and we can support a range of dietary requirements.

Yes. We can support dietary requirements including vegetarian, halal, kosher, gluten-free, lactose-free and dairy-free needs. Please discuss your child’s requirements with us before commencement.

Child safety comes first. We prioritise attentive supervision, safe environments, trusted relationships, clear routines and open communication with families so children feel safe, heard and supported.

Our orientation and settling process is personalised to your child and family. We use gradual visits, familiar routines and close communication to help children settle at their own pace.

Please bring a named bag, spare clothing and a comfort item if needed. For babies, please also bring bottles, breast milk or formula as required, along with any feeding information your child needs. We provide fresh meals and snacks, nappies, training nappy pants, a sun hat, a water bottle and learning and play resources.

Yes. Clever Kids offers Victorian Government funded kindergarten for 3 and 4 year olds within our Kindergarten room.

Orientation includes a Welcome & Play session, family and centre preparation checklists, and follow-up contact during your child’s first month.

Yes. Nappies and training nappy pants are included.

Our standard daily fee is $166 before Child Care Subsidy and any applicable kindergarten funding or account credits. Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your individual CCS entitlement.

If your family may be eligible for ACCS, speak with our team. Once enrolled, we can help eligible families with the centre-side application process.

Additional casual days may be available for enrolled families, subject to availability.

Clever Kids Childcare & Kindergarten in Ashburton offers Victorian Government Funded Kindergarten for eligible 3 and 4 year olds within our long day care setting. Families can book a tour to see the Kindergarten room and discuss available places.

Yes. Clever Kids offers up to 15 hours of Victorian Government funded Kinder per week for eligible children. The Victorian Government Free Kinder fee offset is applied to eligible long day care fees, and additional childcare days can be discussed with our team based on your family’s needs and availability.

Yes. Clever Kids is a boutique, family-owned centre with only 45 places across Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten. Our smaller size supports familiar relationships, personalised care and a calm centre environment.

Yes. Our learning program includes Mandarin, music and piano experiences, literacy, early maths and numeracy, STEM, yoga, wellbeing, creative arts, movement and school readiness, alongside play-based learning.
