Starting childcare

A calm, supported beginning.

Every child settles differently. Some children are ready to explore straight away, while others need more time, familiarity and reassurance. Our approach is flexible and guided by your child rather than a fixed timetable.

Our orientation and settling process gives families time to become familiar with the environment and educators before the first full day. We use familiar routines, gradual visits and regular communication to help children build trust and confidence.

Welcome & PlayA relaxed orientation session for you and your child to spend time in the room before commencement.

Your first day

Keep the bag simple.

We provide many of the everyday essentials, so there is less for families to pack.

Your child’s day

Predictable routines, with room for individual needs.

Children move through a balance of play, learning, meals, rest, outdoor experiences and small-group moments. Routines are adapted for age, development and individual needs, particularly for babies and younger children.

Kindergarten

Learning for school and life.

Our Kindergarten room supports children aged 3–5 through play-based learning, inquiry, early literacy and numeracy, social development, independence and school readiness.

Victorian Government funded kindergarten is available for eligible 3 and 4 year olds. Our team can explain how kindergarten funding works alongside your childcare arrangement.

Fees & support

Understand the cost before you start.

Our standard fee is $166 per booked day before Child Care Subsidy, applicable kindergarten funding and any account credits. Your actual out-of-pocket cost depends on your individual circumstances.

If your family may be eligible for Additional Child Care Subsidy, our team can help eligible families with the centre-side process once enrolled.
